The ideal candidate will have experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial analysis in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and other general ledger transactions Perform account reconciliations and assist in resolving discrepancies Assist with month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Maintain accurate and organized financial records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards Assist with audit requests and other compliance-related activities Self-motivated with strong ownership, attention to detail, and accountability in all areas of work Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencies within accounting operations Support additional accounting and administrative functions as needed Prepare and file sales and use tax returns across multiple states, ensuring timely compliance with applicable tax regulations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and assist all levels of the organization Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through management feedback Preferred Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing industry Experience with Navision is a plus
Pay:
Up to $65,000.00 per year
