Job Description
TPC Houston | Sugar Land, TX TPC Houston is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Assistant Course Accountant to support the club's financial operations. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, analytical, and enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Assistant Course Accountant plays an important role in keeping financial processes accurate, organized, and running smoothly while supporting the overall success of the club. What You'll Do Assist with weekly and monthly financial reporting Reconcile accounts and research variances Process daily cash, deposits, and credit card balancing Support accounts receivable and membership billing Assist with payroll processing and HR reporting Maintain employee files and financial records Work within accounting software and club systems to ensure accuracy What Success Looks Like Financial reports are accurate and completed on time Cash handling and reconciliations are balanced daily Payroll and invoices are processed efficiently Information is organized, accurate, and easy to track Team members and department leaders receive timely support What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Positive attitude and team-first mindset Ability to multitask and follow through on responsibilities Strong communication and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Accounting or finance experience preferred Hospitality, club, or operational accounting experience is a plus Education & Experience Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Minimum 1 year of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred Experience with payroll, AP/AR, and reconciliations preferred Why Join TPC Houston?
