Staff Accountant

NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a manufacturing organization to identify a Staff Accountant in the Weatherford, TX area. This role is fully onsite and will support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and cross-functional business needs. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, steady professional who prefers a collaborative, low-ego environment and enjoys supporting a small, tight-knit team while wearing multiple hats.

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2+ years of experience in month-end close, journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and financial reporting Hands-on experience supporting both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions A background in a manufacturing environment is required Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, and pivot tables

Preferred:

Experience with ERP systems (Epicor or similar) Ability to assist cross-functional teams with reporting and data requests Experience working in smaller teams with shared responsibilities Familiarity with document management and PDF editing tools Exposure to supporting budgeting or forecasting processes If you're looking for a stable, team-oriented environment where you can play a key role in day-to-day financial operations, we'd love to connect.
