Job Summary The Staff Accountant, Financial Reporting, plays an important role in supporting the Company's SEC reporting and financial reporting processes. Reporting to the Manager of Financial Reporting, this position assists with preparing supporting schedules, reconciliations, and disclosures that ensure timely, accurate, and compliant reporting. This role provides a strong foundation for developing technical accounting and reporting expertise, and requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, by preparing supporting schedules and tie-outs. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc internal reporting deliverables Prepare supporting schedules, analyses, and tie-outs for external and internal reporting. Support the monthly and quarterly close process through preparation of workpapers and analytical reviews. Prepare and record cost allocations between departments and sales channels. Assist in the preparation of financial statement disclosures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. Help maintain reporting checklists, calendars, and documentation to ensure timely deliverables. Provide requested documentation and analyses for external auditors and internal controls testing. Collaborate with GL, revenue, FP&A, tax, and other teams to support reporting deliverables. Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the financial reporting function. Experience and Education Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field CPA or CPA candidate preferred 1-3 years of experience in public accounting and/or a public company environment; exposure to SEC reporting a plus Required Skills and Abilities Solid understanding of
U.S. GAAP
