In this role, you will leverage your technical proficiency to streamline financial processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee a variety of core accounting functions. Drawing on your strong foundation in corporate or non-profit accounting, you will drive efficient operations and support strategic decision-making. Position Details:
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience is required for all applicants.
Schedule & Compensation:
Flexible opportunities are available for both full-time and part-time roles. The listed pay range represents a general average; actual compensation will vary based on previous experience and the selected schedule.

Duties Account Management:
Manage and execute detailed account reconciliations within Odoo, ensuring all financial data remains accurate and current.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements using Odoo's reporting tools to facilitate data-driven management decisions.
AP/AR Operations:
Oversee accounts payable and receivable activities, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and collections.
Ledger Maintenance:
Maintain general ledger entries, journal postings, and double-entry bookkeeping in strict accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Cash Flow & Liquidity:
Reconcile bank statements and conduct comprehensive cash flow analyses to monitor liquidity and overall financial health.
Compliance & Audits:
Assist with regulatory reporting to ensure compliance with relevant standards (including SOX, where applicable) and support internal audits by maintaining precise documentation for all transactions processed through Odoo.
System Optimization:
Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize accounting workflows, integrating Odoo seamlessly with other platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft) as needed.
Strategic Planning:
Contribute to the budgeting process, financial forecasting, and variance analysis to support long-term organizational planning.
Team Leadership:
Mentor junior team members on accounting best practices and the optimal utilization of Odoo's financial modules.
Requirements:
Professional Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, featuring proven proficiency in Odoo ERP system implementation and daily operations.
Technical Knowledge:
Deep understanding of GAAP, technical accounting standards, and core financial concepts, including accrual accounting, debits and credits, and journal entries.
Core Competencies:
Demonstrated expertise in corporate accounting practices, specifically balance sheet and bank reconciliations, AP/AR management, and general ledger maintenance.
Compliance:
Familiarity with SOX compliance and regulatory reporting standards applicable to corporate, nonprofit, or governmental organizations.
Financial Analysis:
Hands-on experience with financial report writing, statement interpretation, and cash flow analysis techniques.
Software Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Familiarity with auxiliary accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or PeopleSoft) is advantageous.
Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical capabilities, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to accurately perform reconciliations under tight deadlines. Strong communication and mentoring skills to convey complex financial data clearly to diverse audiences.
Bonus Qualifications:
