Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent accounting graduate or someone with up to two years of experience who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and service-oriented business. The Staff Accountant will play a key role in our month-end close, reconciliation processes, and day-to-day accounting operations. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries related to daily transactions Assist with monthly close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions Maintain fixed asset records and record depreciation Support AP and Field Services teams with accounting with AP and AR transactions Assist with financial reporting and provide supporting documentation for internal and external audits Collaborate with field operations and customer service teams to ensure accounting accuracy Contribute to improving accounting processes and internal controls What We Offer A supportive and fast-paced team environment Career development opportunities in a growing industry Exposure to operations in a service-based business Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, 401(k), PTO, etc. Ability to pass a background check and drug screen is required. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required) 0-2 years of accounting experience (internships in a related field are a plus) Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., Intacct, QuickBooks, ServiceTitan, or similar) is a plus Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude Interest in or experience with the home services or construction industry is a plus
