NATURESCOPE
The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role will involve overseeing day-to-day financial operations, reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, and assisting with budget preparation. The Accountant will work closely with other departments and management to ensure accurate financial reporting and provide insights into financial performance. Attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism and confidentiality are critical in this position.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and organizational policies. Reconcile bank accounts and financial transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies. Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections, providing analysis and insights to management. Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and payroll. Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial information for reporting purposes. Assist with audits, tax filings, and other regulatory compliance requirements. Support the finance team in the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and software, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization. Maintain confidentiality and act with integrity in all financial dealings. Perform other related duties as required to support the financial operations of the organization.QUALIFICATIONS
Completed Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as an Accountant or in a related role. Experience working with Intacct software or similar accounting software is highly preferred. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the use of 10-key calculator for financial calculations. Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail in financial recordkeeping. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with management and other departments. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and delegate when appropriate. Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and commitment to confidentiality in handling financial data. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to converse fluently in English.COMPETENCIES
