The primary role of a Cost Accountant is to ensure item costs are accurate. This is done by regularly auditing product costs, bills of material, routings and manufacturing processes. Some common assignments you can expect in this role include: Evaluate costs related to manufacturing processes Support manufacturing teams during pilot and production runs Conduct time studies in manufacturing areas Create and maintain resources and routings Correct costing errors Analyze and deliver costing report insights Prepare COGS estimates for decision making and to support NPV analysis What You'll Need to

Succeed:

Business oriented bachelor's degree is ideal, accounting degree is preferrable Intermediate to advanced Excel skills Strong analytical skills What We're Looking for in
