Job Description:
Addison Group is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant (Treasury) for a direct hire opportunity with one of our clients. This position will play a key role in supporting the organization's accounting operations, treasury management activities, financial reporting, and month-end close processes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in general ledger accounting, financial analysis, and cash management while thriving in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and post monthly journal entries and maintain supporting schedules Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances to ensure accuracy of financial records Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities Manage treasury functions including cash monitoring, forecasting, wire transfers, and ACH transactions Assist with financial reporting, audit preparation, and compliance requirements Maintain fixed asset and prepaid expense schedules, including depreciation and amortization calculations Support payroll accounting and other recurring accounting processes Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and other key accounting schedules Analyze financial data and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support accounting and finance initiatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 6+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles Experience with general ledger accounting and month-end close processes Accounts payable and accounts receivable experience Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
