Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Corporate Accountant to join our growing commercial real estate firm. This role is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the company's financial records, supporting monthly and annual close processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of GAAP and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, asset-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Assist with preparation for external audits and tax filings Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies Support internal reporting and management requests as needed Collaborate with property accounting, asset management, and finance teams Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 2-5+ years of accounting experience (commercial real estate experience preferred but not required) Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Experience with accounting software preferred but not required (e.g., Yardi, MRI, NetSuite, or similar) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel CPA or CPA candidate highly preferred Compensation & Benefits $100,000-$120,000 Base Salary + Bonus Health Insurance Paid time off and holidays Professional development opportunities Equal Opportunity Statement The employer is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing a workplace free from discrimination.
