Full Job Description Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Project Accountant to support real estate capital projects. This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial tracking, vendor coordination, and project closeout activities across multiple active projects. This is a short term need at this point but could be extended based on business needs.
Must haves:
3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting 3-4 years of excel exp (Intermediate exp) Experience with financial and project systems such as Oracle, Lucernex, CoStar, or Procore (preferred) Nice to have: Capital expenditures/accounting exp CAM reconciliations
Key Responsibilities:
Manage financial processes for real estate capital projects, including: Procurement support and purchase order coordination Invoice submission and tracking Vendor setup and onboarding Reconcile account balances and investigate/resolve past due items Coordinate utility setup for new and relocated sites Track and reconcile landlord contributions (TI allowances, reimbursements, etc.) Support project closeouts, including clearing remaining purchase order balances Review and validate CAM reconciliations received from landlords Partner cross-functionally with Project Management, Real Estate, Accounting, and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate financial execution
Qualifications:
3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably within real estate, construction, or capital projects Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities Resourceful problem-solver with a proactive mindset Experience with financial and project systems such as Oracle, Lucernex, CoStar, or Procore (preferred) Strong reconciliation and analytical skills Work Environment Primarily on-site, with flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days per week

$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
