Job Description

Position Summary Winmar Advisory is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting & Finance Manager to support the financial operations of our growing real estate platform. This role will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting development and construction projects, and assisting leadership with financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have experience in real estate, development, construction, or professional services environments and be comfortable managing multiple entities, project-level accounting, and financial reporting requirements in a fast-paced entrepreneurial setting. Essential Duties & Responsibilities 1. Accounting & Financial Management Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, bank reconciliations, and cash management. Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records across multiple entities and projects. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules. Monitor cash flow and assist leadership with financial planning and forecasting. Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions and account reconciliations. 2. Development & Project Accounting Track project-level budgets, costs, draws, and expenditures for development and construction projects. Assist with lender reporting, construction draws, and capital partner reporting requirements. Monitor project performance against approved budgets and identify cost variances. Coordinate with development, construction, and advisory teams to ensure accurate project accounting and reporting. 3. Reporting & Compliance Prepare financial reports and analyses to support management decision-making. Assist with annual tax preparation, audits, and coordination with external accountants and tax advisors. Maintain compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Support entity management, insurance renewals, licensing requirements, and other administrative financial functions as needed. 4. Process Improvement & Operations Utilize QuickBooks, Excel, and other financial systems to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency. Assist in developing and maintaining accounting processes, controls, and best practices. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve financial visibility across the organization. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 5+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or financial management experience. Experience in commercial real estate, development, construction, or related industries strongly preferred. Strong understanding of financial statements, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and reporting. Experience supporting tax preparation, audits, and compliance processes. Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines. Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams. Pay:
$60,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
