Staff Accountant We're looking for an organized and motivated Staff Accountant. This role is a fantastic entry point into the world of corporate tax and accounting, new grads are encouraged to apply! Why This Opportunity Stands Out Grow at your own pace — a structured transition from administrative support into tax compliance work means you'll never be thrown in the deep end Competitive pay with bonus potential — a salary range that rewards your contributions with room to earn more Comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life & Disability Insurance, 401K with a discounted stock program, and generous maternity & parental leave Invest in your future with tuition assistance, defined career pathways, and ongoing training Work-life balance support through flexible spending accounts, an Employee Assistance Plan, and wellness incentives Mentorship-driven environment — you'll work closely with the Income Tax Manager and outside tax consultants, gaining exposure across the business from day one What You'll DoStarting Out — Administrative Focus Manage and organize tax workpapers, documentation, and filing systems to ensure records are accurate and audit-ready Coordinate with departments across the company to request, track, and compile necessary documentation for tax purposes Draft and manage correspondence with regulatory agencies and taxing authorities Maintain calendars and track key compliance deadlines to keep the team on schedule Support the Income Tax Manager with scheduling, meeting preparation, and day-to-day administrative tasks Handle incoming notices and inquiries from tax agencies, routing and logging them appropriately Assist with data entry, document formatting, and the preparation of tax workpapers under guidance Maintain organized digital and physical records for all tax filings and related communications As You Grow — Tax & Accounting Focus Prepare and file income, franchise, and miscellaneous tax returns across multiple U.S. and Canadian jurisdictions Perform monthly account reconciliations and analyze tax accruals Support research on tax questions and emerging regulatory issues Assist with property tax, abandoned and unclaimed property compliance, and other specialty filings Collaborate with outside tax consultants on various filing projects Assist with special tax projects as assigned What We're Looking For Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred) 0-2 years of experience in accounting, tax, or an administrative support role Strong organizational and time management skills — you thrive managing multiple priorities and deadlines High attention to detail and a dependable follow-through on tasks Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general comfort with office software A proactive, customer-service mindset with strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion U.S. work authorization required; visa sponsorship is not available
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
