Job Description
Description We are seeking a Financial Accounting Coordinator to join our team in Swanton, VT. This role is centered around maintaining financial records, conducting account analysis, and supporting various accounting functions within our team. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full cycle accounting processes to ensure accurate and timely financial statements
- Manage fixed assets and perform regular reconciliations
- Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities
- Oversee project costing activities, ensuring accurate allocation of costs
- Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely processing
- Manage payroll functions, ensure accurate and timely payment to employees, payroll implementation
- Human Resources and social functions
- Implement and maintain internal controls for accounting processes
- Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes
- Performing annual physical inventory reconciliation and reporting
- Coordinate cash flow forecasting
- Perform annual budget with multiple departments
- Assist the plant / manufacturing manager in any accounting related inquiry. Experiences
- Must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in handling (AP) and (AR)
- Must have a comprehensive understanding and experience in Full Cycle Accounting
- Experience in performing Account Reconciliation
- Must have experience in managing Fixed Assets
- Must have experience in Month End & Year End Closings
- Experience in the Textile Industry is a plus
- Payroll & Human Resource Experience
- Experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks and Excel & Word skills is vital.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$50,000.00- $70,000.
