This role will work closely with executive leadership and plant operations to improve costing visibility, strengthen inventory and COGS processes, and enhance operational reporting across the organization. The position offers strong visibility to leadership, meaningful cross-functional interaction, and the opportunity to influence manufacturing operations within a stable yet growing business. Responsibilities Lead month-end close activities related to inventory and cost of goods sold Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and operational performance metrics Maintain and improve inventory valuation and costing processes Support BOM maintenance, product costing, and ERP data integrity Partner with operations, procurement, and supply chain leadership on manufacturing analysis Review overhead allocations and inventory reconciliations Assist with standard costing, variance analysis, and process improvement initiatives Support physical inventory procedures and internal controls Develop reporting and analysis to support operational and strategic decision making Participate in efforts to improve systems, controls, and manufacturing accounting procedures Qualifications 5+ years of manufacturing cost accounting experience Strong understanding of inventory accounting, COGS flow, and operational costing Experience within a mid-sized manufacturing environment ERP experience within a manufacturing setting Strong Excel and analytical skills Ability to work cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams Experience with BOMs, WIP, overhead absorption, and inventory controls strongly preferred Interested in hearing more?
