This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of accounting functions, from general ledger management to payroll processing, in a fast-paced environment that values precision, integrity, and continuous improvement. As an integral part of our team, you will leverage your expertise in financial concepts and accounting software to deliver high-quality results that drive informed decision-making. Responsibilities Manage and perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and applicable regulatory standards Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies Utilize QuickBooks accounting software for payroll and general accounting operations Perform data entry tasks with precision using 10 key typing skills and double-entry bookkeeping methods Contribute to process improvements by implementing best practices in technical accounting and governmental accounting standards Qualifications Proven experience in corporate or governmental accounting environments with a strong understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software or a similar platform. Knowledge of GAAP regulations and SOX compliance is preferred. Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform account analysis and balance sheet reconciliation accurately Excellent math skills combined with attention to detail for data entry and journal entries Experience in public accounting or financial services is a plus but not required Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders Join us as an Accountant where your expertise will help shape our organization's financial integrity.
