Job Description
Reviews lease contracts. Prepares and reviews lease accounting records in compliance with accounting policies and guidelines. Interprets reports and records for managers/stakeholders. Investigates and resolves business partner inquiries, accounting deviations, and other data anomalies. Drives analysis based on data trends. Prepares and reviews lease inputs into financial statements and drafts disclosures for regulatory accounting filings. Provide support for audits. Fields complex questions from business partners in alignment with accounting standards, guidelines, and policies accounting policies. Contributes to process-improvement efforts by collecting and reviewing business partner and team feedback and incorporating industry best practices. Identifies, evaluates, and leverages AI and technology that could automate or speed up internal processes. Performs gap analysis and helps business process owners design, implement and perform operational and financial controls for Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) cycles. Master's Degree in Business, Accounting /Finance, or related field AND 3+ years accounting or finance experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting /Finance, or related field AND 4+ years accounting or finance experience OR equivalent experience. Lease accounting, administration and analyses, and controls for multinational companies transacting in multiple currencies. Professional accounting certification such as CPA or equivalent. Master's Degree in Business, Accounting /Finance, or related field AND 6+ years accounting or finance experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting /Finance, or related field AND 8+ years accounting or finance experience OR equivalent experience. Advanced skills in applications such as Excel and PowerBI. Large scale ERP experience e.g. SAP. Lease accounting and adminstration tool experience such as Costar and Tririga.
