Job Description

Accounting Intern Organization:
SIGN Fracture Care International Position Type:
Internship (20-30 hrs.) 90-day duration SIGN Fracture Care International is a nonprofit organization located in Richland WA. dedicated to improving access to orthopedic care worldwide. We work to provide innovative solutions that help surgeons treat fractures in underserved communities across the globe. SIGN Fracture Care International is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our Finance and Administration team. This internship provides valuable hands-on experience in accounting functions while gaining practical exposure to financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, and administrative processes. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable, including data entry and credit card balancing.
  • Support month-end reconciliations and help maintain accurate financial records.
  • Organize and main files.
  • Handle confidential financial information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Provide general administrative support to the department.
  • Assist with special projects, including budgets, charitable/corporate filings Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting,finance, business administration, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Previous nonprofit or cost accounting experience a plus.
