Job Description

Molecular Epidemiology, Inc. (MEI) is hiring for an Accountant position at its corporate headquarters in Seattle, WA. Ideal candidates will possess the following:
  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field (required)
  • Knowledge in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, accounting practices (required)
  • Experience in QuickBooks (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Experience in accounting and ADP (preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work well with others
  • Friendly, professional, reliable, presentable The pay range for this position is $50,000
  • 58,000 annually. This is a full-time position and is eligible for the following benefits after a brief waiting period: medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D insurance, long
  • and short-term disability insurance, health and dependent care FSA plans, employee assistance program, 15 days of paid time off per year for sick leave and/or vacation, 6 paid holidays per year, 3 days paid bereavement leave, and 401(k) (with up to 3% employer match after eligibility criteria are met).
