$83,200 - $97,760 DOE Our client, a well‑established consumer brand with a strong reputation for product innovation and responsible business practices, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing accounting team. About the Role - Senior Accountant As a Senior Accountant , you will take on key accounting and operational responsibilities that support reliable financial reporting.
Your primary duties include:
Performing daily cash postings, cash application, and bank‑to‑ERP/general ledger reconciliations, including research and resolution of discrepancies. Managing sales tax processes such as data exports, uploads to Vertex, reconciliations, and compliance‑related support. Calculating and tracking sales commissions using Excel templates and macros, and communicating results with sales representatives. Supporting month‑end close activities, completing balance sheet reconciliations, and assisting with ad‑hoc financial requests. Collaborating with cross‑functional teams-including AP, Sales, and Finance-to ensure accuracy and timeliness throughout accounting workflows. What You Bring - Senior Accountant Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Solid general ledger accounting experience in a small or mid‑sized company environment. Advanced Excel skills, including lookups, SUMIFS, IF/THEN logic, pivot tables, and the ability to run macros. Highly adaptable, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing shifting priorities. Previous experience in sales tax, commissions, and/or Vertex a huge plus.
