The team is looking for some immediate help in the department and hoping that this person will be a good long-term fit as well. You must have a bachelor's degree in accounting and at least five years of progressive accounting experience. This position is fully in office in Seattle.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Process month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy and completeness Support audits by preparing schedules, responding to auditor inquiries, and maintaining proper documentation Analyze financial data and provide insights to leadership for budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, with strong knowledge of GAAP Proven experience managing full-cycle accounting, including month-end close and financial reporting Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis) and accounting systems (ERP experience preferred) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Experience supporting audits and maintaining compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
Pay Details:
