Job Description

We are seeking a professional to join our team in the flooring industry as a showroom assistant. This person must be a reliable team player with keen attention to detail. This role requires a high degree of humility and a commitment to collaborative success. Our prime candidate is someone with excellent customer service skills, the ability to work alone and with others, and has competent computer and basic math skills. The primary responsibilities for this position include assisting customers with products/samples, creating quotes and invoices, processing paperwork in a timely manner, and maintaining a clean and organized showroom. Experience with flooring and/or design is a strong plus but not required.
Main Responsibilities:
Be able to fulfill general administrative tasks like answering phones, greeting guests, and keeping filing up to date. Assist in all phases of project management Prepare project correspondence when requested Estimate product quantities Obtain pricing for bids and order placement Process contract documents Maintain contract administration Place material orders Prepare field work orders for subcontractors Coordinate with installation subcontractors Generate deposit, progress, and final billings for accounts receivable Process conditional and final lien releases Assist in accounts receivable collection Maintain all project records in a secure and professional manner
