Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to support a legal organization in Spokane, Washington through a Contract assignment. This role is ideal for someone who can manage day-to-day accounting activities with accuracy, maintain reliable financial records, and keep payables and receivables moving efficiently. The successful candidate will bring strong QuickBooks knowledge and a hands-on approach to reconciliations, ledger maintenance, and payment processing.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily bookkeeping operations, ensuring financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Process vendor invoices, schedule payments, and issue checks while maintaining organized accounts payable records.
  • Manage incoming payments, post receipts, and follow up on outstanding balances to support accounts receivable activities.
  • Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts to identify discrepancies and maintain accurate reporting.
  • Maintain the general ledger by reviewing entries, correcting inconsistencies, and supporting month-end close activities.
  • Use QuickBooks to track financial activity, prepare routine reports, and keep accounting data current and accessible.
  • Review account activity regularly to confirm completeness, accuracy, and alignment with internal accounting procedures.
