What You'll Do:
As our Senior Accountant , you'll serve as a key financial resource supporting multiple Tribal healthcare entities. You'll work closely with leadership to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, transparency, and sound decision-making. Serving as the on-site accounting professional for designated Tribal healthcare entities Assisting with financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and operational metrics Supporting grant and contract compliance, reporting, and fund accounting activities Collaborating across departments to develop meaningful financial reports and analyses Assisting with annual budgets, audits, and internal controls Providing backup support for payroll processing and cash management functions Performing account reconciliations, financial reviews, and general accounting activities Helping strengthen financial processes that support the organization's long-term success Why PTHA? Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution Three (3) years of senior-level accounting experience Demonstrated fund accounting experience Experience processing payroll for organizations with 100+ employees using electronic payroll systems Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and current liability insurance
