Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Reporting (Primary Focus) Lead month-end and year-end close processes across multiple entities Prepare and review financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports Maintain the general ledger and perform account reconciliations, analyses, and roll-forwards Record and reconcile accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, debt, and equity transactions Ensure financial records are accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with GAAP Assist with consolidations and intercompany accounting activities Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules for management review Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiencies Operational Accounting & Cash Management Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management activities Monitor account balances and assist with maintaining healthy cash flow across entities Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and variances Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis as needed Gather and organize financial information to support tax preparation and external advisors Systems & Process Improvement Utilize QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online to maintain accurate accounting records Create and refine financial reports, exports, and management reporting tools Leverage Excel and other technology solutions to improve efficiency and reporting capabilities Assist with strengthening accounting procedures, documentation, and internal controls
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field 3+ years of progressive accounting experience. Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and month‑end close best practices. Proficiency with QuickBooks (Desktop & Online) and Excel. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently. Clear, professional, written, and verbal communication.
