Job Description
Other job functions:
Serve as back-up to payroll, accounts payable, and purchasing as needed. Assists with reconciliation and reporting of grant revenues. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualification Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field. Two years of increasingly responsible experience in professional accounting. Governmental fund accounting experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access). A valid Washington State Driver License may be required depending on assignment. City of Wenatchee Government The City of Wenatchee is a full-service City employing 190 employees. Wenatchee is the largest city in rural North Central Washington and thus provides a small-town atmosphere with big city amenities striking a great balance between rural and urban qualities of life. Furthermore, the city is only 30-minutes from the renowned resort towns of Leavenworth and Lake Chelan. For those desiring occasional amenities of major metropolitan areas, Seattle is a short scenic 3-hour drive or 30-minute flight away making Wenatchee very attractive to many people and families relocating from the Puget Sound area.
