Location:
Onsite in De Pere, WI, but must be willing to travel to Suring 1-2 days per week Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Financial Accountant to support financial reporting, cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and operational decision-making across multiple manufacturing locations. This role will partner closely with Finance, Operations, Production, and Sales to provide accurate financial information, identify cost-saving opportunities, and improve overall business performance. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation with experience in manufacturing environments and enjoys working directly with financial data, cost variances, and operational metrics. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports using SAGE and Insight software. Perform budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business objectives. Develop and maintain financial models and reporting tools. Monitor actual results against budget and forecast, providing meaningful explanations for variances. Present financial findings and recommendations to the CFO and senior leadership. Cost Accounting & Manufacturing Support Analyze production costs, material costs, labor, and manufacturing variances. Identify trends and opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Support multiple manufacturing locations with financial reporting and cost analysis. Partner with Operations, Production, and Sales teams to align financial data with business activities. Assist in maintaining accurate costing information and financial records. Accounting & Compliance Maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting. Support month-end financial processes and related accounting activities. Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations. Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field required. Experience 3-5 years of accounting, cost accounting, or financial analysis experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience with cost analysis, variance reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Strong understanding of manufacturing costs, inventory, and operational financial performance. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams. Technical Skills Experience with SAGE and Insight software preferred. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial modeling. Experience with ERP systems such as JobMaster, JobBoss, Insights 20-20, or similar platforms. Experience with Power BI, SQL, or other reporting tools is a plus.
