Staff Accountant:

•  Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations on a weekly and monthly basis
•  Record journal entries related to prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and capitalization
•  Review and audit accounts payable activity to ensure transactions are coded accurately
•  Evaluate invoices and spending to confirm proper expense classification
•  Cross‑train on accounts receivable cash application
•  Maintain familiarity with a small number of customer accounts for AR continuity
•  Support general ledger accuracy and assist with close‑related activities
