Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Administrator/Clerk/Treasurer to join our local government organization. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for overseeing local government operations, maintaining accurate accounting records, and ensuring compliance with local ordinances. Customer service through resident interaction is near daily activity. Mandatory attendance at all Village meetings including evenings to record minutes and give feedback to Board as needed. Duties Schedule and post notices for all meetings to comply with WI Open Meetings Law Attend all meetings, including evenings. Take minutes and write up for formal record keeping. Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions Perform account reconciliations and cash management Oversee payroll, A/P, water and sewer utility Run all Village elections Manage annual budget process Prepare Dept of Revenue forms and county spreadsheets to produce annual Real Estate tax statements. Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial data. Strong accounting background Effective communication skills Knowledge of Open Meeting Law, Roberts Rules of Order, taking minutes, writing agendas. Department of Revenue reporting Schedule meetings, write ordinances, DOT reporting, DNR compliance, familiarity with TIDs.
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
