Senior Accountant - Accounting/Finance - Full-time 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars 323 SOUTH 18TH AVENUE, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235 Full-time Door County Medical Center 14 reviews Full-time The Senior Accountant supports the financial integrity and strategic goals of Door County Medical Center by preparing and analyzing financial statements, coordinating key reporting and compliance activities, and assisting with budgeting, capital planning, and long-range financial analysis. This position helps ensure accurate, timely, and consistent accounting information for internal leadership, the Board, auditors, and external agencies. Working under the direction of the Director of Finance, the Senior Accountant also serves as a technical resource to staff, supports departmental coordination and process improvement, and helps maintain compliance with accounting standards, organizational policies, and governmental reporting requirements.
Job Requirements:
Education Required :
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent education & experience combination.
Related Years of Experience Required:
Five or more year of accounting experience with knowledge of healthcare accounting and reimbursement preferred. Extensive experience with general ledger, accounts payable, fixed assets, computer systems, and Microsoft Applications. Must have strong analytical, customer service and communication skills.
Shift:
Working 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday. Experience Preferred Five or more year of accounting experience with knowledge of healthcare accounting and reimbursement preferred.
