About Wishope Recovery and Programs:
Wishope Recovery and Programs is a multifaceted organization dedicated to providing comprehensive recovery services and support programs for individuals struggling with addiction and mental health challenges. Position Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and reliable Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage the financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely bill payments for all of Wishope Recovery's programs. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is crucial in maintaining the financial integrity and operational efficiency of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all of Wishope Recovery's programs. Process and manage accounts payable, including receiving, verifying, and paying invoices. Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions regularly to ensure accuracy. Monitor cash flow and prepare financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls. Prepare and submit required financial documentation for grants and funding reports. Handle payroll processing and related tax filings. Provide financial support and guidance to the CEO. Assist with annual audits and coordinate with external CPA/auditors as needed. Maintain confidentiality and security of financial information.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar role. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
