What You'll Do:

Provide support to our sister companies: Black Hills Trucking LLC & True Pipe and SupplyEnter data into accounting systems.

Input journal entries.

Perform account reconciliations.

Perform transactional accounting entries.

Prepare routine reports i.e. sales tax.

Validate data against system reports.

Verify that controls and processes have been followed.

Ensure all entries are adequately supported, as per procedures.

Work with operations, other shared services and stakeholders to problem solve.

Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual close processes to ensure all relevant data has been captured in appropriate time period.

Participate in other projects as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

Required Education, Experience and/or AbilitiesAn associates degree in accounting and zero (0) to two (2) years of experience in an accounting environment; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

Basic accounting knowledge; debits and credits.

Basic fixed assets understanding.

Ability to read professional documents (invoices, various financial statements, emails).Ability to calculate financial amounts and indicators. Preferred Education, Experience and/or AbilitiesOil and gas experience. Computer SkillsKnowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook software applications.

Understanding of basic database programs.

Ability to use 10-key by touch. Proficient data entry.

Experience with Oracle is preferred.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications English language fluency, verbal and written.

Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check and drug/alcohol test.
