The Administrator will oversee accounting functions related to multi-state life insurance operations while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company standards. This Administrator role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial planning efforts, and providing leadership with meaningful financial analysis to assist in strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, leadership experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a highly regulated industry. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensure compliance with Statutory Accounting principles and insurance industry regulations
Maintain accurate financial reporting across multiple entities and states
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Monitor internal accounting controls and recommend process improvements
Support leadership by providing financial insights, reporting, and analysis
Coordinate audits and assist with regulatory reporting requirements
Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff across multiple locations
Ensure timely completion of financial reconciliations and reporting deadlines
Collaborate with leadership and operational teams to improve financial efficiency Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities
Strong knowledge of Statutory Accounting and multi-entity financial reporting
Experience working within a regulated industry preferred
CPA or CMA certification preferred
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and leadership abilities
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
