ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR

Position Summary The Accounting Supervisor oversees daily accounting operations across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger functions. This role is responsible for ensuring accuracy, compliance, operational efficiency, and process improvement while supporting team development and collaboration across departments. Key Responsibilities Train, mentor, and support accounting team members to strengthen performance and foster a collaborative work environment Oversee day-to-day Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable operations Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and related accounting transactions Manage supplier reconciliations, including promotions, billbacks, and discrepancy resolution Support General Ledger activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes Prepare, analyze, and review financial reports and account analyses for leadership review Administer the corporate credit card program while maintaining strong internal controls and policy compliance Assist with state and federal compliance reporting requirements Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy Support the development and optimization of Shared Services initiatives Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to improve communication and workflow processes Document and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and process documentation Assist with departmental initiatives, special projects, and additional duties as assigned Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proven ability to supervise and manage team members Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proactive self-starter with a positive attitude Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience preparing reports, processes, and documentation Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) 401(k) Retirement Plan Paid Time Off (PTO) Life and AD&D Insurance Disability Insurance
