Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to lead our finance team. This role is vital in overseeing the daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills, experience with regulatory reporting, and a passion for mentoring team members to achieve excellence in financial management. Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Supervisor to support the financial operations, full-service Marriott property. This role is critical in ensuring accurate daily revenue reporting, timely processing of financial transactions, and effective management of guest and vendor accounts. The ideal candidate has prior experience in hospitality accounting and understands the importance of accuracy in daily audits and guest billing. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR): Manage full-cycle AP/AR processes, including invoice processing, vendor statement reconciliation. Identify and resolve discrepancies related to the income journal proactively.

Month-End Support:

Assist with month-end and year-end close, including preparing reports, tracking variances, and supporting documents.

Vendor & Client Communication :

maintaining professional and timely communication while processing A/R. •

Process Improvement :

Identify opportunities to improve workflows, organization, and efficiency within accounting processes.

Administrative Support :

Maintain organized digital and physical records and support audit preparation as needed . Qualifications •

Education:

High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. •

Experience:

1-3+ years of accounting, booking, or hospitality finance experience required.

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (reconciliations, formulas, data tracking) • Experience with accounting systems and hotel

PMS /POS

platforms preferred
