Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Accounting Supervisor to join a growing and stable organization. This role will work closely with senior leadership and play a key part in overseeing general accounting functions, supporting the close process, and driving process improvements across the department. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical accounting skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced yet balanced work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with monthly and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Prepare and review bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and journal entries Support financial reporting activities and maintain general ledger integrity Develop and enhance accounting procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy Maintain and support the implementation of internal controls and compliance processes Coordinate with internal teams on financial inquiries and operational support Prepare audit schedules and assist with external audit requests Compile financial data and assist in preparing presentations for leadership Support insurance renewals and other corporate compliance-related activities Partner with leadership on special projects and process improvements Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger and financial reporting Strong knowledge of GAAP Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs) required Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Self-starter with a positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to be hands-on Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
