Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Administrator to oversee our financial operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills and a solid understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting. This role requires a proactive approach to collaborate with other departments to support the organization's financial goals. Duties Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities. Ensure accurate and timely regulatory reporting in compliance with applicable laws and standards. Oversee technical accounting functions, including SOX compliance and internal controls. Conduct financial analysis to provide insights into business performance and support strategic decision-making. Maintain organization, and debt schedule. Maintain proficiency in double entry bookkeeping, ensuring accuracy in debits and credits. Utilize accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks for efficient financial management. Maintain corporate insurance policies and required licenses; renew policies as appropriate with Controller/Owner approval. Document claims, beneficiaries, and losses on all corporate insurance policies Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, financial processes, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service Perform general office duties, such as filing, answering telephones, and handling routine correspondence Be a secondary to answering phones Experience & Skills Proven experience as an Accounting Administrator or similar role in a corporate environment. Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements and technical accounting principles. Experience with double entry bookkeeping practices. Familiarity with QuickBooks online is preferred. Excellent financial acumen with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate with a team effectively.
