Job Description

Essential Functions:
Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement by applying a Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset and supporting the Mid Valley Family Foods mission to identify value, prioritize resources, and optimize operational efficiencies. Oversee and manage the daily ordering cycle and appointment desk operations. Serve as the primary liaison for all customer product data synchronization systems. Perform daily cash reconciliations related to warehouse fees. Complete day-end, week-end, and month-end close processes within the accounting system. Process juice billing and review accounts receivable (AR) billing in collaboration with the accounting department. Monitor products run throughout the week in alignment with the production schedule, verify completion against planned quantities, identify potential shortages, determine timing requirements for product usage, and communicate proactively with customers regarding product needs and adjustments. Oversee inventory management processes, including tracking damaged inventory, coordinating rework activities, and maintaining accurate inventory status records. Evaluate inventory and production readiness to determine which products are approved for shipment and which items must be placed on hold pending resolution of quality, inventory, or operational issues. Provide leadership and operational support to staff managing assigned customer accounts, including troubleshooting escalated issues, resolving operational challenges, and ensuring effective customer service and communication. Develop and maintain work schedules for hourly transportation and receiving team members. Manage the CHEP portfolio, including oversight of ordering systems. Address and resolve customer service issues for assigned accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Coordinate activities across customers, production teams, and supply chain departments to ensure seamless operations. Respond to customer inquiries, resolve concerns, and maintain strong client relationships. Execute special projects, assignments, and additional duties as required. Perform other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field or commensurate training and experience. 5+ years of operational and management experience, 5+ years of that experience in the food manufacturing industry. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Proficient in computer applications, including spreadsheets and email systems. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Strong mathematical, analytical, and communication skills, with a demonstrated commitment to excellence. Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. Solid accounting and financial management capabilities. Results-oriented with a strong drive for continuous improvement. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and persuasive abilities. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines. Comfortable interacting with all levels of management, including senior and corporate leadership. Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, including cost accounting within a food or manufacturing environment is a plus. Preferred Qualifications Experience in customer service role in a food manufacturing facility. Familiarity with SAP, DAX, and Yardview Professional certifications such as an MBA is preferred.
Salary:
