The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience, be highly organized and detail-oriented, and possess the ability to work independently while also contributing effectively in a team environment. We are looking for someone who is committed to accuracy, timeliness, and continuous improvement in all aspects of their work. This position offers significant long-term growth potential. As an employee-owned company (ESOP), we are seeking an individual who wants to build a career with our organization and develop into a future lead cost accounting role. Compensation will be based on qualifications, experience, and overall fit for the position.
Responsibilities:
Assist with full-cycle accounts receivable and subcontractor accounts payable processes. Process and track T&M tags, change orders, and other project related billing documentation. Process and track vendor/subcontractor insurance compliance. Assist in subcontractor monthly pay applications. Obtain and track lien waivers, union letters, and all other required documents. Prepare monthly reports as directed by Public Works Agencies and project owners. Assist with additional accounting and administration duties as assigned. Tech applications include Viewpoint Spectrum, Oracle, Nice-touch, Microsoft, Etc.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. 1-3 years of experience. Construction cost accounting preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, maintain attention to detail, and see assignments through completion. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Professional verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated, dependable, and receptive to constructive feedback.
Schedule:
Full-Time 7AM - 4PM Onsite Monday through
