Job Description

Full-Time Administrative & Accounting Assistant Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Administrative & Accounting Assistant to support the daily financial and administrative operations of our growing metal/construction company. This position will play a key role in accounting support, job cost tracking, data entry, and general office administration. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with numbers, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Primary Responsibilities Administrative Duties & Accounting & Financial Support Assist with accounts payable processing, accounts receivable processing and pay app processing Enter and track invoices, purchase orders, pull lists, receipts, and vendor payments Assist with job cost tracking and project expense coding Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Support project managers with administrative and financial coordination Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized records Organize digital and physical filing systems Coordinate office tasks, schedules, and general administrative support Assist with miscellaneous office duties and special projects as needed Qualifications Previous administrative, accounting, or bookkeeping experience preferred Experience in construction is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively Strong communication and problem-solving skills Dependable, professional, and team-oriented attitude Position Details Full-time, in-office position Monday through Friday Competitive compensation based on experience Opportunity for long-term growth and advancement within the company Ideal Candidate Traits Self-motivated and proactive Strong with numbers and organization Able to handle confidential financial information professionally Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Willing to assist in various areas of the business as needed
