Job Description

Schimberg Co. is a family-owned pipe, valve, and fitting distributor with seven locations across the Midwest. We're always looking for people who share our values of hard work, integrity, and dedication to our industry. We are hiring an Administrative Support Associate within our accounting team. This is an entry-level role that plays a crucial role in keeping information flowing and accessible between our sales, accounting, and warehouse teams. Successful associates are dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, where priorities can shift throughout the day. The work can be repetitive and process-driven, but essential to ensuring our sales team can serve customers efficiently and our operations stay on track. As you demonstrate your skills and reliability, you'll have the opportunity to take on additional accounting-related responsibilities and grow within the department.
Schedule :
Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM What you'll do: Scan, sort and electronically process work orders Monitor system reports and investigate missing documents Physically distribute documents between departments multiple times daily File accounting and sales records Research and process backorders Other clerical and accounting-related tasks What you'll need: High school diploma / GED Comfortable working with computer systems and learning new software Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to stay organized and manage repetitive tasks Flexibility to shift priorities throughout the day Good communication skills across teams Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) What you'll experience: Traditional values: At our core is our work ethic, dedication and commitment to treat others with honesty and integrity.
