This role will focus on reconciling accounts, processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, and assisting with day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform account reconciliations and assist with clearing outstanding items Process and manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities Assist with month-end close tasks and general ledger maintenance Prepare journal entries and support general accounting functions Research and resolve accounting discrepancies Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Provide additional accounting and administrative support as needed

Qualifications:

3+ years of accounting experience Strong understanding of AP, AR, reconciliations, and general accounting principles Proficiency in Excel and accounting software/ERP systems Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Assignment Details:

Full-time contract position (40 hours per week) Expected duration: 6-8 weeks Opportunity to convert to a permanent full-time position based on performance and business needs This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, improving processes, and helping a team get caught up on critical accounting functions.
