Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Japanese Bilingual Administrative & Accounting Assistant to support daily accounting operations while providing executive administrative support. This position plays a key role in corporate reporting, banking activities, accounts receivable follow-up, and general accounting functions, while also assisting senior leadership with scheduling, travel coordination, and other administrative responsibilities. Industry Manufacturing / Trading Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred. Minimum 3 years of accounting department experience. Business-level Japanese and English communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including intermediate Excel skills for analysis, reconciliation, and reporting. Experience using ERP systems such as SAP ByDesign or similar platforms. Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support multiple stakeholders. Ability to use a computer, telephone, and other standard office equipment. Responsibilities Manage executive calendars across multiple time zones and coordinate meetings. Arrange business travel and ensure compliance with company travel policies. Prepare and process expense reports for reimbursement and compliance purposes. Serve as a liaison between executive leadership, employees, clients, and external partners. Monitor daily banking activities and maintain accurate cash position reporting. Enter accounting vouchers accurately and in a timely manner. Review aging reports and follow up on delinquent accounts and payment discrepancies. Document collection activities and investigation findings within company systems. Assist with general accounting duties, reporting activities, and month-end closing support. Provide administrative support and assist with special projects as assigned. May be assigned other duties by managers.
