April 8, 2026 : #Tech-Pro-Admin-01 Job Summary Supervise and control the general accounting and cost accounting functions, including the general ledger, accounts payables, accounts receivables, fixed assets, and cash management. Responsible for financial statement and report preparation, budget preparation and reporting, and statistical analysis as required by management. Communicate financial results and business planning matters to the Japanese parent company. Essential Functions Set the example and require all department employees to know and follow Company policies as directed by the Employee Handbook, Safety Rules and Regulations, and the Quality Manual. Maintain the Company's system of accounts and keep books and records on all Company transactions. Prepare financial and statistical reports as required. Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and provide actual vs. budget data to department managers. Monitor and coordinate all cash management activities for accounts payables, payroll, and investment accounts. Provide training and supervision for the accounting staff and conduct annual evaluations of their performance. Monitor established internal controls to ensure compliance. Coordinate and prepare external auditor requirements and schedules. Prepare consolidation schedules as required by the Parent Company. Assist departmental personnel with budget activity, proper coding, document preparation (RINGI), and other accounting-related activities. Assist with the planning and implementation of changes in the accounting system. Assist in the preparation of required tax filings (sales tax, tangible/intangible property tax, KIDA). Communicate essential information to the Parent Company as required. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Manager or a member of the Management Team. Qualifications Four-year College Degree in Accounting. Five years of practical experience in general and manufacturing accounting or any combination of experience, education, and training that provides the required level of knowledge, skill, and ability. A CMA or CPA designation is highly desirable. At least three years of previous management or supervisory experience. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (ability to speak/write in Japanese is a plus). Proficient in MS Office software (Word, Excel, and Access). Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment while maintaining high ethical standards. Must pass a background check including previous employment, education, and credit history. Leadership Responsibility Staff Accountant & Accounting Administrators Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for long periods; maneuver around the office; good finger dexterity, and ability to rotate wrists, arms, and shoulders; ability to type repetitively using a keyboard for 1 or 2 hours before a break. Good eyesight, hearing, and speaking voice; ability to lift and/or move approximately 10 lbs. Working Conditions Work is generally performed in a normal office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards. Incumbent may find it necessary to spend short periods on the production floor communicating with other employees.
