The position also contributes to audit readiness, fixed asset oversight, and broader finance support in a deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting activities to ensure complete and timely financial reporting.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and account analyses to support the accuracy of the general ledger.

  • Coordinate materials and documentation for internal and external audits, including the preparation of supporting schedules and workpapers.

  • Administer lease accounting schedules and calculate related right-of-use assets and lease obligations.
  • Complete assigned accounting projects such as property tax support, management reporting, and other ad hoc financial analysis.
  • Provide guidance to accounting operations by reviewing manufacturing variances and supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
  • Maintain organized financial records and ensure general ledger information remains accurate, current, and audit-ready. Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
  • Experience with fixed asset accounting and the ability to manage related schedules and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing cost structures and variance analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools; experience with ERP platforms such as JD Edwards is preferred.
  • Effective analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Proven ability to manage priorities independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
