Job Description

Job Details:
This role plays a vital part in keeping the company's financial operations running smoothly and accurately. As a key contributor to the accounting function, you will ensure that critical financial data is entered correctly and on time, supporting informed decision-making across the business. Your work will have a direct impact on payment processing, shipping accuracy, and financial compliance, making you an essential partner to both the accounting team and operational stakeholders.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
In this position, you will be responsible for a wide range of accounting and documentation activities that support day-to-day operations. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will help ensure financial integrity and smooth shipment processes.
Key responsibilities include:
Processing payments related to trucking, live producers, grade and yield hogs, subject hogs, and insurance claims Managing, distributing, and maintaining shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOL) Auditing scale tickets and reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance Balancing shift books, filing carbon checks, and ensuring all lots are entered correctly into the accounting system Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to support timely shipment documentation and insurance claim payments
REQUIREMENTS
Days/Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm; some Saturday's may be required.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
1+ plus years of office experience required; FSQA experience a plus
Computer Skills:
Basic computer skills including generating simple spreadsheets; Microsoft Office; Sessions, SAP preferred.
Communication Skills:
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication.
Special Skills:
Strong organizational analytical and problem-solving skills; knowledge of multiple business units, and accounting requirements A resume must be submitted with application to be eligible for consideration
