Accounting Supervisor

Job DescriptionJob Description We are seeking a hands-on Accounting Supervisor to join our team in Mahwah area on a permanent basis. This is a fully on-site role offering the opportunity to work across a broad range of accounting and finance functions in a dynamic environment. Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team. Manage the full accounting cycle, including month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and preparation of monthly P&L statements with variance analysis against budget and forecasts. Prepare and submit required financial reporting packages to headquarters. Review and validate balance sheet and income statement reconciliations for accuracy and completeness. Assist in the development and execution of annual budgets and periodic forecasts. Support mid-year and year-end close processes, including intercompany reconciliations and preparation/posting of journal entries. Assist with the preparation of tax schedules and supporting documentation for mid-year and year-end reporting. Coordinate internal and external audits, providing documentation and support as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Prior supervisory experience Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
