Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting & Administrative Assistant to support our accounting and office operations. This role works closely with the accounting team and assists with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, recordkeeping, purchasing support, and general administrative functions. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable working with technology systems, and enjoys supporting multiple departments in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Process vendor invoices and assist with accounts payable activities. Assist with customer invoicing and accounts receivable functions. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies. Enter and maintain accounting and operational data in QuickBooks and Quickbase. Support purchase order and receiving processes. Maintain accurate records and electronic filing systems. Assist with month-end accounting activities and reporting. Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account information. Support payroll and employee record administration as needed. Assist with general office and administrative duties. Collaborate with accounting, purchasing, service, and management teams to ensure accurate financial records. Qualifications Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred. 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience preferred. Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting principles. Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software preferred. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and customer service abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Experience working in a service, construction, technology, or project-based business is a plus.
