Sally Beauty offers products for hair color, hair care, nails, and skin care to retail customers looking for salon quality products at a value price. Beauty Systems Group, branded as Cosmo Prof or Armstrong McCall stores, along with its direct sales consultants, sell professionally branded products intended for use and resale by salons to retail consumers. This is a hybrid role working Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday on-site reporting into the Support Center at Legacy West in Plano Texas. About the role The Supervisor of General Accounting oversees a team of accountants to maintain the company's financial integrity through rigorous month-end closing , account reconciliations, and adherence to GAAP . They are responsible for reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations, and implementing internal controls to minimize financial risk and ensure audit readiness. Responsibilities Supervise a team of 3-5 staff accountants that are responsible for revenue, cash, accrued expenses, prepaids, receivables and other general accounting categories. Review journal entries and ensure the team is completing timely and accurately Supervise the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, ensuring that variances are investigated and resolved on schedule. Perform trend analysis on the Trial Balance to identify anomalies, coding errors, or missing expenses before final reports are issued. Ensure all accounting operations comply with legal regulations, internal policies, and GAAP standards. Assist with periodic audit requests Ensure compliance with internal controls. Knowledge, skills & abilities requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required Minimum of 3-5 years experience in financial reporting and systems Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word Competencies & attributes Flexible & Agile Adapter
