Job Description Position Summary:
The Accounting Supervisor will oversee day-to-day accounting activities related to accounts payable and accounts receivable. The supervisor will also support month-end close activities and other accounting projects. This role will act as Sarbanes-Oxley ("SOX") coordinator. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Primary Responsibilities:
Supervise and support one Accounting Specialist in daily operations for Accounts payable and Accounts Receivable. Act as SOX coordinator to provide training to SOX process owners and ensure timely completion of SOX deliverables. Facilitate month end closing activities including manual journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation and other routine deliverables. Facilitate and support internal and external audits with required documents. Support capital authorization requests process. Support ad hoc projects and cross-functional needs within the department.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting (CPA is a plus) 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment Solid understanding of US GAAP and internal controls (SOX experience a strong plus) Experience with Syteline ERP systems is a plus. Proficiency in

Ability to work accurately with strong attention to detail. Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities. Willingness to work overtime as required. Self-motivated and capable of working independently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively analyze problems and identify solutions.
